The human body, biologically and chemically, one of the most complex organisms on this planet. From the muscles that contract to make us move to the neurons that send signals all around the body keeping us alive. We are a self-sustaining form. This work focuses on the representation of the muscles. We have around 640 to 800 muscles in our body and we have two of each. I researched all the muscles in the body and from the information I started to shape a piece of clay in response to that knowledge. Each piece of clay was the same in weight but every piece was different in shape. After firing the objects, I laid them out in a grid to see how they could be represented within a space. each piece is so uniquely different with its own personal delicacy.
